If you’re following along in the CAL it is now time for Block E- the Tunisian Purl stitch! As always I did a video to teach you the stitch.
I had some issues with my camera, an update means that it zooms in and centers AFTER you hit record, and it seems to make me go to the edge of the shot a lot. No idea what is going on there. Hopefully, you still can see plenty and understand how to do the stitch! If not please do let me know! The camera also drops at one point, sorry about that.
Here’s a close up of one of my squares. I admit my tension on this stitch could be better, my squares are a bit wobbly.
After you get the initial concept of what to do to make the stitch I do encourage you to practice getting a good even tension and controlling the yarn with your fingers instead of manually wrapping it. I’m still struggling with it myself! One great thing about this project is that little mistakes or wonky squares will still lead to a warm blanket!
You can find all the previous stitch instructions here!
AND If you want to put your skills to work don’t forget my free hat pattern for the Hygge Hat!
As always thanks for watching, thanks to my husband for helping me record, and PLEASE do comment with any questions, comments, or concerns. I really want to help you learn to do this stitch and to have fun being crafty!
