Stockinette

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Last month I started on a sweater from the October/November 1992 issue. It’s a fine sweater, just a basic cardigan, and I’m hoping to finish it for my neice.

It has several elements of design that I don’t care for, pieces, smallish needles, and row after row after row of stockinette. I much prefer a more complicated knit, or a sweater worked in the round, or size 10 needles, or all of the above.

I’m still chipping away at it though, and have about 1/3 or so of the back done.
