I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Recently I have been watching quite a few videos over at Creativebug (affiliate link, I make a few bucks if you sign up, which I recommend because it is awesome and I LOVE it!) and several videos of illustrations that I liked used Goache. (pronounced like squash) I don’t have any gouache (well, actually I may have a cheap pack somewhere, but that is irrelevant because I wanted to buy art supplies and wanted to set myself up for success with quality paint) so I started shopping. First I put together a massive shopping basket, then I whittled it down, then I filled it again, then I whittled it down, and eventually, I ended up with this order. Since it was my first order and I signed up for the email list I also got a few free gifts! The service was great, the prices were amazing, and I highly recommend Jerry’s Artarama for your art supplies. (I forgot what the third free gift was, it was the first Mimik paintbrush in the package! I had to look it up after recording. The other free gifts are mentioned in the video)
This post was NOT sponsored in any way, Jerry’s has no idea I did this, I make zero money off of it, I’m just having fun!
This video was first done as a live Facebook video on my page! Be sure to like the page for more fun and to be the first to see similar videos in the future!
And if you’re curious, here is my very first attempt at using Gouache! Which I now adore, and had so much fun with. It could be better, but not too shabby for the very first time with a medium, and a quick trial before starting dinner!
I also did an eraser test with the Vanish erasers I bought. Here are the results:
I’d love to know what you think! Have you ever tried Gouache? Have you ever ordered from Jerry’s? Would you like to see more artsy and crafty unboxing videos?
