Casting On

I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Now that I finished the potholder I’m moving on already! This Issue (October/November 1992) has a little girls sweater. The sweater pattern has a duplicate stitch pattern of reindeer and a design. I’m not really into it. I think the design would still be cute on a small girl, maybe 4-6 age range, but I don’t have anyone in that range to knit for. So I’m using the basic pattern, a colorful modern yarn, and making it in size 10 for my niece. (Shh, don’t tell her, it’ll probably be in her Christmas presents)

And so I’m casting on! Will post progress as it goes, I have five parts to make. If I complete this it will be only my fourth sweater of all time! (One for my son, one for my mom, one for a neighbor’s baby, if you’re curious.)
